A production Shopify Hydrogen storefront independently delivered for a Swedish toy retailer — live since September 2025, handed over in December 2025, still live today.
I independently delivered the Shopify Hydrogen storefront for Klosslabbet, from implementation and catalogue setup through launch and handover. The store went live in September 2025 and is still live today.
The visual direction was reference-led — this case study is about shipping and operating a real store, not original visual design.
LEGO customers don't only shop by collection. I structured the catalogue around themes, age, price and piece count, then used Shopify metafields and metaobjects to make those paths part of the storefront.

After launch I also handled the less visible work around the store — product feeds, SEO, trust signals, policy pages and Google Merchant Center. When Google suspended the account for 'misrepresentation' without identifying a specific cause, I worked through the appeals, audited the storefront against the findings and implemented the technical changes that were within my control.
The storefront was handed over in December 2025. Eight months later, the client is still operating it on substantially the implementation I delivered — the current 2026 campaign runs in the banner system built for it.
